I'm not seeing the hinge. Looks like a brace to me.
Don't worry about this wheel ... unless it goes for cheap (<$50). Personally, I don't know enough about them to judge whether it's in working condition without seeing it in person.
I definitely don't want a 6' wheel! LoL!

foot pedal, centre bottom/right see the hinge? try viewing the image, right click, open in new window... and then zoom in control + a couple times.
Like I said not guarantee.
What's your budget for working spinning wheel?
but remember I don't spin (although I do swing...) so I wouldn't know what type YOU need other than that it's complete when buying.
I mean, we once had a 6 foot "walking wheel" last year, you don't want one of those, right?

- Not sure if it's in working order. Don't see a foot pedal ... which is important for it to be useful. I'd try to get it for about $100 depending whether it's working or not. Do you have any other details about it?

auction is sunday, not sure time yet, have to ask auctioneer (dumb move, fall anniversary auction, done yearly, doesn't indicate time).
we may/may not make it.... lottsa stuff to do here depends on weather.
if bad weather will go.... otherwise probably not.
so don't sweat the timing...
you';re planning to actually USE this thing?

if you do that, it helps keep any responses to your request organized, these "comments" here tend to just scroll down and get lost.
I'd also suggest, have a peek on the internet, and dig up a couple of photos of spinning wheels you want... then plop picture in, you can hyperlink from another page, or download/upload picture to this group.
